Severtson Grey Vision offers exceptional contrast and brightness to present excellent 3D performance and great resistance to ambient-lighting.
It is generally accepted white materials are the best choice when paired with most modern projectors in dedicated media rooms. However many people find that they would like to watch sports and television in a living room or den environment where fully controlled lighting is not possible. Some companies offer negative gain screens or angular-reflective screens to reduce the interference of ambient lighting with the projected content. Many of these solutions are very costly and have other negative side effects such as extremely reduced viewing angles and “hotspotting”.
Severtson has been a leader in innovative projection screen technology for many years. Severtson Grey Vision is an optical screen coating that is applied over our standard vinyl projection surfaces to give a uniform, high gain screen that enhances the contrast of the projected content and effectively eliminates the interference of ambient light in many different types of environments. Due to proprietary polymer formula, Severtson’s Grey Vision is able to offer exceptional performance with minimal drawbacks.
